For over 30 years, the Turtle & Tortoise Rescue of Arroyo Grande has fulfilled its mission to rescue and protect turtles, tortoises, & other animals. It was built from the ground up by Bob Thomas, and since 2018, the sanctuary has been operated by new owners Jeff and Tammy Dobbs and their family. In a single year, the 5-acre sanctuary is a permanent and temporary home for over 300 animals. The sanctuary provides a home for several Palomacy pigeons, now living their best life.
