Gentle Cooper, shown with his beloved wife Swan, was a "surplus" (unwanted) racing pigeon sold for training hunting dogs (his wing & tail feathers were completely cut off) & then purchased, with another pigeon (Wicket), by a kind-hearted but misguided person who "set them free" in a field where they were completely helpless. Another kind person miraculously found them & brought them to a shelter which contacted Palomacy in 2017 & he has been the loveliest foster guy & husbird ever since. (The big cere over his beak is a breed feature.) Swan is a perfect princess pigeon.
