Submit Your Original Photos & Artwork
(Entries that don't meet requirements are subject to exclusion.)
- Images must be high resolution/large file size (1 MB to 7 MB recommended) and suitable for printing.
- Each image requires a unique write up of 50 to 90 words — the birds' stories are really important. Entries with no write up or with only a few words may be excluded.
- Only images with rescued, adopted, or wild and free pigeons and doves in safe, non-exploitive settings, please.
- Photos and artwork submitted must be original. Photographs (including of artwork) must be high resolution and suitable for printing.
- Digital art welcome but not generated by artificial intelligence, please.
- There is no limit on the number of images submitted.
- Entering begins at 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, July 31, 2026.
- The earlier you enter, the better chance you have to get votes and win!
- All images must be submitted by 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Voting
- Vote as many times as you want! Invite all your friends and family to vote too. Every vote means a dollar that will help Palomacy help birds.
- Voting begins at 9:00 AM (Pacific Time) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 and ends at 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, July 31, 2026.
- All votes must be submitted by 5:00 PM (Pacific Time) on Friday, July 31, 2026.
Your birds will be immortalized as Palomacy Calendar & merch birds, gracing people, homes, and businesses all over the world — ambassadors for compassion.
(There will not be a PAPER 365 page Bird-A-Day Desk calendar version produced in 2027. We will be e-mailing daily virtual pages via free subscription!)
Additional Terms
Warranty of Copyright Ownership
By submitting your artwork to Palomacy, you confirm each of the following:
(a) The artwork is your own original work.
(b) The artwork does not use AI-generated imagery.
(c) You are the sole owner and copyright holder of the artwork.
(d) You have not granted exclusive rights in the artwork to anyone else.
(e) The artwork does not violate anyone’s privacy or infringe on any trademarks, trade names, intellectual property rights, or any other legal rights.
(f) If the artwork represents a specific bird, and you are not the bird’s owner, you have received permission from the bird’s owner to submit the artwork.
Limited Copyright License Agreement
By submitting your artwork to Palomacy, you grant Palomacy a nonexclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display the artwork solely for the purpose of promoting Palomacy and its mission on Palomacy’s website and in any other online or print sources, including social media, press releases, and flyers. You will be credited for the artwork wherever reasonably possible.
Palomacy may not use your artwork for any purposes other than those stated above without obtaining additional written permission from you. You retain the copyright in your artwork.
Waiver of Payment
You acknowledge and agree that while Palomacy will not sell ownership or publication rights to your artwork, Palomacy may distribute printed and digital copies of materials that include your artwork. By participating, you waive any right to receive payment or compensation for this use.
Limitation of Liability
Palomacy is not responsible for any printing, typographical, human, or other errors in materials, nor for submissions that are stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, or illegible. You waive any claims against Palomacy related to these issues.
Palomacy reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the acceptance or use of submissions at its sole discretion.
By submitting your artwork, you agree that these terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, which will be used to resolve any claims or disputes.
