A little about my entry...
Sequoia is my heart dog, my best friend, and the gentlest soul I’ve ever known. She’s an 8yr old half Rough Coat Collie and half Bernese Mountain Dog mix, a beautiful “accident litter” I so gratefully came across. From the moment she was born, she had the sweetest, most affectionate personality, always wanting attention and always giving it right back.
She’s been by my side since she was a pup, never more so than during my cancer recovery, when her velcro-dog loyalty and quiet strength brought me comfort I didn’t know I needed. Sequoia is always up for an adventure, hikes, road trips, lazy park days — but truly, she’s happiest just being wherever I am.
At home, she adores playing with her younger brother Theo and watching out the window for the neighborhood cats to stroll by. She’s not just a dog, she’s a constant source of love, joy, and healing, and I’m endlessly lucky to share life with her.
