I am a Pasadena Humane Alumni!

A little about me...
My name is Charlie and here I am on my Christmas walk with my beloved human companion. I was adopted from the Pasadena Humane Society when I was 8 years old and my owner was 95. I am catching up with her because now I am 12 (84 dog years) and she just turned 99!!! We still go on walks because she is very active and healthy. This is my third home. My first human died and the second got ill and had to give me up but my current beloved companion has made plans to insure that I will be well cared for the rest of of my life. I am in her will, can you imagine? There are several friends who would vie for my company, but I hope not; I love my human and she loves me very much. I live in a home where I have 24/7 attention and love. There are lots of squirrels and lizards outside and that keeps me busy. Plus, I get fed really delicious bits from the dinner table (don't get jealous, friends). My companion knows she should not do this but she cannot resist my charming personality (or my begging, to be honest). We have made all the difference in each other's lives. How lucky I am and she is always saying how lucky she was to find me. This photo was taken by our dear friend Wayne Shimabukuro- it's my favorite.
