My city...Sierra Madre
I am a Pasadena Humane Alumni!A little about me...They came back for me the following week. I was put into in a closed room but I didn't mind because I was not really alone; a human sat in there with me too. He didn't talk much but company felt good. I stayed in that room until one day I was taken to the back yard and that's when I met Koala. We played and it felt so good like it was something I had forgotten. Then I felt content and stirred by the joy of having a bonded friend/family.
At the time this picture was taken I was already really happy with these two legged... who were just great. They hover too much and are still hovering, but I know they just want to keep us safe. Little Koala is growing fast with all the good food we have, and he is smart. Though he seems really head-strong and persistent when he should listen to the warnings and strong forceful "NO" picking you up off the jacaranda trunk. Then up you ran as fast as you could go and stopped to look down …and cried until a ladder was brought. And in the responding to your pleas I found myself looking up that trunk but as I stood up on only one foot... No running up to help you but I ran to your side when you came to the ground again and I know that night we were cuddled like this picture and we do every night.
