A little about me...Maddie: We are best friends.
Bootsy: Well, I don’t know about best friends.
Maddie: Huh? You always come to house for play dates. You eat my food. You steal my ball.
Bootsy: But I have other friends too. People like me.
Maddie: People like me too!
Bootsy: But I don’t boss them around like you do.
Maddie: I’m not bossy. I’m assertive.
Bootsy: Well whatever it is you can get on people’s nerves.
Maddie: We met when we were babies. We were both adopted. I am a little more domineering than Bootsy over here.
Bootsy: A little?
Maddie: As I was saying, we’ve been playing together most of our lives. When one of us is sick, the other one hurts. If we don’t see each other for a few days we miss each other. Right, Boots?
Bootsy: I suppose.
Maddie: I guess we do argue sometimes. Our Mom’s say we’re like cousin.
Bootsy: The only time we argue is when you steal my food before I’m finished eating.
Maddie: Anyway, vote for us!
