A little about me...My mom found me at an adoption event by chance while running errands. I did my best to get noticed by sitting on a volunteer's lap - away from all the other puppy commotion - and was on my best behavior.
It worked because my soon-to-be mom noticed me! The volunteer noticed my mom looking at me longingly and said she could walk me around the booth. I could tell she loved me because she told other interested people that I was in the process of going home with her while she held me.
I knew I had to convince my soon-to-be dad who initially said no, so mom and I teamed up to make it happen. She cried in public (so embarrassing!) when he came to meet me and I let him pick me up like a baby before falling asleep in his arms.
Next thing I knew I was getting hooked up with my own bed, tent, food, snacks, and best of all - I was going home with my family. 12 years later I'm still the king baby of the household.
