A little about me...
We are eggs that come from another family and another hen but we hatched under a hen named Midnight, a week before easter, and are growing up in the backyard of this loving human family in Pasadena. There are 5 of us siblings. We think Fall might be a rooster, but it's still too early to tell. My other sisters are Pepper and Moon! Moon is the oldest but also the smallest and the meanest! Our humans built us a big chicken run but still let us out in the yard, supervised, for a few hours most days. We love eating up all of the delicious garden greens and digging up all the grubs and bugs!! We're getting very plump and soon we'll be laying eggs. We're told we are super cute. The humans pet us a lot and cuddle us, which we are getting more and more used to. We guess it's okay, but we really just want to play and dig for grubs. At night we still sleep under mama's wings. We really hope Fall isn't a rooster. Rooster's aren't allowed in Pasadena so we'd have to give him away. We don't want to break up our little family. We all love each other and Fall looks out for us. Either way, I know we'll all be okay because the humans take such good care for us and love us.
