A little about me...
My story begins with my being chosen when I was just a 3-month-old kitten in 2011 to go to my forever home. On the way there, I was told that Dad was coming home from City of Hope after undergoing a stem cell transplant. Mom felt that my new Dad needed companionship and distraction while recovering, and raising a kitten was perfect for him. I was named Gabriella after Gabrielle Giffords, a brave congresswoman who had recently been shot and was valiantly trying to recover. Dad and I bonded quickly as he recovered remarkably from his stem cell transplant to living a full life since. Our special times are when we both take naps together in the afternoon and, later in the evening, while relaxing with each other. This bonding and love for kittens and cats led Mom and Dad to foster over 140 kittens for Pasadena Humane since 2019, mostly starting under 2 weeks old. I meowed that as long as I still get my daily love and cuddling, this fostering is acceptable. I love my Mom and Dad and their love of raising these foster kittens for adoption to their forever homes.
