Bonesey’s story began on the island of St. Croix, where he and his brother were found chained to a tree before being rescued by Cruzan Satos Rescue. He arrived in Pittsburgh shy and unsure—even unable to walk on a leash.

Renamed Bonesey, this Mountain Cur found comfort with the help of his big sister, Pickles. Today, he’s a feisty, playful pup who loves wrestling dogs twice his size and napping on his couch. From a rough start to becoming a loyal best friend, Bonesey is the true definition of resilience and love.
