A little about me...
Treasa was rescued from a local shelter, where she was found as a stray. Her name means “strong one” in Irish. She had a very severe eye injury, and she received emergency surgery the following day to have her eye removed. Unfortunately, as fate would have it, this would not be an easy or typical recovery for Treasa. She had several surgeries, several hospitalizations and even a bone graft in her eye. She became famous for her “pirate patch” which was devised by her fabulous vets to try to keep infection out of her eye. Four months later, she is finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. She is a known frequent flier at the vet office and is known for her ability to jump out of anesthesia and start eating immediately. Throughout everything, she has maintained grace, strength and sassiness.
