Dixie may actually be a Muppet.
She is sweet, playful and knows exactly what she wants. She is goofy, floppy and her tongue doesn’t quite fit in her mouth.
She enjoys watching the birds and small animals in the yard. She likes to wrestle and thinks she is just a little dog still, often standing up under her brother (Rucker) and lifting him off the ground.
Dixie loves anyone she meets but no one more than my husband, who is her best buddy.
She loves toys and believes they all belong to her. She will pile them up and lay on them like a dragon hoarding gold.
Dixie loves to fetch, if she could speak I am certain 90% of her words would be “ball”. I have witnessed her bringing her ball to her feline brother (Stanley), and trying to get him to throw it. Sometimes when it is time to fetch she gets so excited that she runs off with the ball still in her mouth.
Dixie has never met anyone who didn’t instantly love her. She is confident and has big time main character energy.
She brings joy and laughter to all who meet her. I am sure she would fit in well with the cast of the Muppets, with the exception of Miss. Piggy. The jealousy and wrath of a glamorous pig would not phase Dixie, and would make exceptional television.
