A tribute to our boy — our once-in-a-lifetime dog.
Marley may no longer be with us, but what he gave us never left. It’s in the quiet moments, the routines that still feel shaped by him, and the love that somehow still fills every corner of our home. He didn’t just live with us… he completed our home.
We adopted Marley from Pet & Wildlife Rescue over 10 years ago—our very first “foster fail.” To them, he was one of many success stories. To us, he was everything.
He was the heartbeat of our home, the reason for laughter on hard days, and the kind of companion you will never forget.
Losing him has been one of the hardest things we’ve ever gone through. And even now, almost a year later, we still miss him every single day.
That’s why we entered Marley into this contest.
Not for the title, and not just for the photo—but for what he represents.
Marley is a reminder of what rescue animals give us: unconditional love, second chances, and a bond that never really leaves you.
Voting for Marley is a way to honour not just him, but every rescue animal still waiting for their chance.
