Remy’s story began on the side of a rural Alabama road at just 10½ weeks old—but you’d never know it now. Adopted through rescue, this dual citizen made an early international relocation and traded his Southern roots for life in Canada (though he’s still a bit of a redneck at heart).

A UKC Scent Work Champion, Remy spends his days collecting sticks (and the occasional deer shed), chasing golf balls, exploring Rondeau Provincial Park, romping in the yard with his fur buddies, and, of course, pursuing squirrels with unwavering dedication.

Despite living with immune-mediated polyarthritis, he remains endlessly happy, active, and full of personality—sweet, loyal, and very much a terrier with a mind of his own. He adores the UPS and Canada Post carriers (for obvious treat-related reasons), and it’s not uncommon for people to greet Remy before they greet his owner. When he’s not out working the neighbourhood, he can be found barking at animated TV characters—most notably the Charmin bear, his long-standing and deeply personal rival.
