Truffles, a badly injured FIV+ stray, found her way to us at the beginning of COVID. Despite her pain, her joyous spirit and powerful resilience shone through and inspired us to save her. She endured three surgeries and a long recovery (120 days wearing a collar of shame) with remarkable strength and no complaints. Now she's a vibrant 10-year-old, spreading happiness and laughter with her kitten-like energy and is the poster girl for the power of second chances.
