The winners of the photo contest will be determined by the top 12 entrants that get the most votes. The top winner will win the coveted cover photo for the 2026 calendar! 2nd - 12th place winners will have their pet featured as a pet of the month. Entries featuring two pets will share a month if they place among the top 12 vote getters (or you can choose one between them for pets for the month). The winners will have their pet professionally photographed by Melissa Neumann Photographer for the 2026 calendar.

All winners will have the opportunity to purchase products and images following their session, if desired. All winners will receive the photoshoot and a 10 inch framed print as part of their prize valued at $385. You can also upgrade your session for a small fee to include additional pets or people into the photoshoot.

If your beloved pet is selected as one of the fortunate 12 to feature in our calendar, it's essential that you can schedule a professional photography session with Melissa Neumann Photographer at a location in Adelaide. You'll need to arrange this session at a mutually convenient place, time and date before October 20th, 2026. For our feline friends, fret not! They'll have the luxury of being photographed in the comfort of their own homes, as Melissa will bring her studio to you. However, failing to commit to a photoshoot during the specified period or being unable to organise one will result in forfeiture of your winning spot. In such cases, the next top-voted pet will be offered the opportunity to take your pet's place in the calendar. Please note that no exceptions will be made in this regard.
