Calvin staking out his brother’s food
PAWS & More named him Melon when he, littermates & Mama were rescued in Washington.
He was the last of his family in the shelter (even mama had been adopted!) when I came for my birthday 7 years ago.
Every cat that chose me was already adopted but Amber said, “I know just the cat for you!” and brought me to Melon.
Since I already had a Hobbes this boy became Calvin.
He hates my Gollum voice when I call him my birthday present and call him My Precious
He developed bladder crystals in 2020 and after a scary emergency vet visit was permanently put on a prescription diet which is why he can’t eat his brother’s food (and the microchip feeder in the picture that won’t open for him)
