Dusty will soon be four years old. She and her three litter mates were feral kittens. A neighbor and I found homes for all four kittens; however, the woman in Des Moines who was going to take Dusty decided against the adoption. Although I already owned three indoor cats, I had to take her in, because she was, as I tell her every day, the cutest tabby ever, ever, ever, with a beautiful orange striped tail. She loves high places and regularly sits atop my kitchen cabinets often walking across the vent on the stove. She also loves to get underneath blankets and throws, but often begs for her favorite toy, a cat dancer, and knows exactly where I keep it. Sweet and smart, I cannot imagine life without Dusty.
