Entry, voting, and calendar sales proceeds will help to support PAWS & More
Each entry will be $10 to PAWS & More. This entry fee does not include a calendar.
You may enter as many photos as you wish, with no restrictions on animal species or number of animals per picture. Entry fees are required for each submission.
Entries will be accepted starting at 8:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Sunday, June 1, 2025 until 8:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Emphasis of the photo should be on your pets. Please do not include people in the photos.
Your pet does NOT have to be adopted from PAWS & More or live in Washington to be eligible to enter the contest.
Anyone may vote for any entry in the 2026 Photo Contest. Each $1.00 donation counts as one vote. You may cast as many votes as you like at any time for any entry. You are allowed, and encouraged, to vote for your own pets, and to share the contest with your friends and family.
Photos must be high-resolution (300 dpi or greater) to be considered for a month spread in the calendar. No professional watermarked photos will be accepted.
Photos deemed offensive, indecent, or obscene will be removed from the contest.
All photos submitted will become the property of PAWS & More and may be used on social media, advertising, or marketing materials.
The photo receiving the most votes will be “2026 Pet of the Year” and that photo will grace the cover of the 2026 Calendar and will be added to one month also.
The next top 10 photos receiving the most votes will be featured as “Pet of the Month”. Pet of the Month winners will be showcased as a large photo each month.
A panel of judges, including the PAWS Board and staff, will choose a “Best in Show” photo that will be showcased as a large photo one month.
The next 24 photos receiving the most votes will be featured as “Pet of the Week”. Two Pet of the Week winners will be included as smaller photos on each calendar page.
Participants have the option to purchase a blank calendar grid space for $100. The square will include a thumbnail photo and the name of the pet.
PAWS & More Staff and Board Members may enter the contest.
Online voting via website will end at 8:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, June 30, 2025.
Any photo that receives 500+ votes will earn a free calendar. Otherwise, participants may purchase calendars, if they would like, but calendars will not be provided automatically due to the high cost of printing.
