Meet Loona – the underdog with a heart of gold!
This spunky sweetheart was rescued from a beach in Puerto Rico after a hurricane and made her way—along with her pups—to the Humane Society of Ocean City, NJ. While her furry babies found homes quickly, Loona waited nearly a year for someone to see just how special she is. Why the wait? Well… she’s got a few quirks.
Loona is allergic to almost everything (yes, really), and she’s not exactly a fan of other dogs, cats, or squirrels. But what she lacks in social graces, she makes up for with an unstoppable zest for life!
She’s silly, sassy, and snuggly—basically a walking ray of sunshine —and now she’s on a mission to win hearts (and votes!) in the PAALS Paws & Pints contest!
