here's my babygirl Meme's story

When Meme came into our lives, we fell right in love with her. Meme came from a family that abused her so she didn't know how to trust people. She didn't know what love was. It took some time to gain her trust and show her that we are her family and we will not hurt her. Fast forward a few years later and now Meme is queen of the house! We have two cats in our family as well. Although Meme is gentle with them, that typical chihuahua behavior shows up every now and then when she gets jealous that we are sharing our love with them. Meme is a great joy for this family. Not only have we shown her how to love and trust again, she showed us how amazing life can truly be with a chihuahua. She's spoiled for sure, but that's what makes our lives more interesting. Meme gets excited to go out and ride in her pet stroller. She loves to bury herself underneath the blankets at night for bedtime. She may be small but she sure hogs the bed. We've been through many types of dog food and treats trying to find the ones that Meme will actually eat, but it turns out that she really likes a warm home cooked meal like everyone else. Meme keeps us on our toes everyday. From the demands to snuggle and scratch her, to pushing her in the stroller, it's hard to tell who has who trained! We thank God for blessing us with the chance to show Meme what unconditional love is all about and her to show us. We weren't looking for a dog when she came into our lives but they say things happen for a reason.
