What is my yearbook superlative and why?
Most Likely to Rescue a Human
River entered my life to help sooth my broken heart after loosing my sweet perfect dog Ella to brain cancer. He has done a fine job sharing his playfulness and joy. He is excellent at following his human everywhere. If I leave the house, he usually sits near the front door waiting for my return, when I am greeted with the most abundant love, affection and chipmunk noises.
River's loyalty is unmatched. He adored his older sister and BFF, Marley, who taught him his ball retrieving skills. He helped me keep Marley happy while she suffered with cancer. He was crushed when she left us in June for dog heaven. He circled the car looking for her and still waits on the stairs hoping she'll come home. He has a very big heart.
What clubs and extracurricular activities do I participate in?Book Club-River is successfully learning to read his flashcards. His newest words are rollover and jump.

Herding Club-State Champion in biting human and dog heels.
Lettered in Track-Best High Jumper
River loves to make up games. Shortly after I brought him home from PAWS at age one, he made up a game of going out the back door, running around the house and sitting at the front door for us to let him in.
River is so eager to make his humans happy, he masters tricks and commands often by the second try.
He is a great help in the kitchen. We have a make-believe cooking show after school, and he is the taster. He always gives my cooking a good review on Facebook.
River definitely rescued me.
