Clementine fka Montreal

Write a brief bio of your pet. (favorite things, their backstory, personality traits, etc.)
We want our PAWS alum Clementine, formerly known as Montreal, to have her beautiful feline face on a beer can and be showered with the superstardom she deserves! This queen bee is full of personality and charm, and is always up for an adventure. Incredibly curious, smart, and energetic, Clementine did not have the most straightforward path to us. We adopted Clementine from PAWS at the end of 2023, and she now lives with our family of two adults and two young kids in our cozy Grant Park home, where we are frequent guests of Elsewhere. We enjoy visiting Elsewhere because there is always something new and tasty to try on the tap and from the kitchen, and since it’s in our neighborhood, we can easily walk or bike. While Clementine is more of a homebody, she gets her outdoor fix birdwatching and sunbathing on our screened-in back porch.

We are so grateful to PAWS and to Clementine’s amazing foster mom, Monique, for always believing in Clementine and working with her to make sure that after a somewhat bumpy journey she ended up in the home that would be perfect for her and for us. Vote for Queen Clementine!


How would your pet spend the day if they could plan an afternoon of fun?
Clementine is very clever and has a high prey drive, so she would almost certainly want to start with a chasing game. Next, she would spend some time adventuring and exploring. She is quite the climber and can also jump very high, so she would enjoy a vertical obstacle course that would give her a great view from above. Finally, she would love to be pampered with a sunbathing session in her cat tree tower and feast on her favorite treats!

What would your pet's favorite beer (or other beverage) be?
A friendly, approachable but vibrant European-style amber lager (to match her personality and her unique coloring!)
