Jake

Write a brief bio of your pet. (favorite things, their backstory, personality traits, etc.)
A college student turned Jake into a shelter when he was too much for her; we foster failed him after the cat in his first foster home beat him up. Jake is best described as a lovable lummox; 75-pound lapdog; stealthy food thief; and heartbreaker. He knows he's good looking and happily poses for cameras, hasn't met a treat he doesn't like, and is obsessed with walks, tennis ball, and rides in the car. A total Velcro dog, Jake is happiest cuddling with his mom, dad, and brother.

How would your pet spend the day if they could plan an afternoon of fun?
If Jake planned an afternoon of fun, he would swim in the creek behind his house, chase countless tennis balls thrown by his family, then lay on the couch with his head on his dad's lap, snoring louder than whatever sporting event is on TV. When he wakes from his nap, it would be time for a buffet of treats.
