Peanut is a lounging, snuggling, bite you when you least expect it kind of kitty. He purrs like a motorboat and does his best to make you chill by weighing you down with all of his 8lbs of body weight. He and his brother Poppy were rescued from a feral life in the Georgia heat and came full of fleas and worms. They now live their best life in Athens as therapy kitties with their therapist mom.

How would your pet spend a summer afternoon?
Peanut spends his summer afternoons belly up in a sunny spot with air conditioning set to a cool 68 degrees. When he’s not lounging, he’s instigating wrestling matches with his kitty brother or plotting the demise of the neighborhood birds and squirrels.
