Rigatoni (better known as Toni) came to PAWS at 3 years old because he couldn’t stand the thought of having to share attention with a sibling. I was a volunteer at the time, and spent a solid 20 minutes laying on the floor talking to him while he growled continuously at me from three feet away. I told him right there that we were going to be best friends. I brought him home a few months later, and his sassy but loving personality filled my apartment in the best way possible. He always greets me when I come home, LOVES to tell me all about his adventures that he went on while I was gone (which he claims consists of more than just sleeping on the couch…), and his favorite hobby is never letting me walk into the bathroom alone.

How would your pet spend a summer afternoon?
If he could, Toni would spend his summer afternoons at the golf club, pretending to be working on his swing but in reality is just there to sip on his strong drink and heckle his friends when their shots go sideways, deep down knowing that life doesn’t get much better than this.
