Once abandoned, abused, and left at a shelter, pregnant and heart worm positive, this resilient pup endured heartbreak when her puppies were still born. But her story took a beautiful turn when she found her forever home – complete with acres to roam, critters to chase, UTV rides, and her best friend, Bailey. 13 years later, her body may be slowing down, but her spirit still soared as she chases the Amazon truck along the fence and snuggles into freshly laundered sheets. She dreams of the days when her body was stronger and her teeth could handle a rawhide.

How would your pet spend a summer afternoon?
After a stroll in the yard and a belly full from breakfast, Champi loves to sun bath on the back deck followed by a long snooze on a cozy couch. Around 4:45 p.m., it’s time to get up, take a stretch and supervise her people to ensure her dinner is prepared to her liking and timely!
