Share a short bio about your pet!
Darling boy Fish (formerly Newton) had a bit of a crazy start to his recent life. He made a surprise appearance in the PAWS donation bin tucked behind a donated carrier, under the flap of a cardboard box, and absolutely terrified. Despite being abandoned, he was full of love to give. He didn't do too well on the Cat Cottage adoption floor and thus spent two months with amazing fosters who shared his story with potential adopters. After no applications, a social media post shared through a mutual friend caught my eye. That sweet face and those expressive green eyes. I knew immediately he was meant to be part of my family. He now rules his home, enjoying watching sports on TV with me, trips out on the balcony (on a harness, of course), and even surprised me by learning how to play fetch! His first "Gotcha-versary" is July 13th and I look forward to many, many more years with my new best friend and companion.

If your pet was a type of ice cream, what would they be and why?
Fish would certainly be a lemon basil gelato or sorbet. He's refreshing, a little quirky, and absolutely convinced he belongs in an Italian balcony garden.

How would your pet celebrate PAWS Atlanta's 60th anniversary?
Very likely, Fish would host an exclusive "Balcony Gala" where he would patrol the balcony like a security guard, ensuring every guest, be it a plant, bird, bug, or breeze, knows that it's a VIP event in honor of PAWS. Also, as he is regularly active on Instagram, he would post a heartfelt anniversary tribute: “From donation bin to balcony king — thank you, PAWS Atlanta, for 60 years of saving lives like mine. Now watch me play a celebratory game of fetch!”
