Share a short bio about your pet!Barry is always on the go, go, go! Adopted from PAWS (and formerly named Frogger), his parents have watched him grow from just a 5-month-old wild pup to a grown-up lil guy with big brown eyes, the cutest leg freckles, and a curly tail that's always up and ready for play.
Half-beagle and half-Pomeranian, he is a loud and proud baby boy with tons of energy who has never met a stranger and truly wants to become best friends with you — whether you're a human, another dog, or even a cat! Barry's superpower is befriending anyone, even convincing the nervous/shy dogs at daycare who never interact with other dogs to play with him. And he's a kind and gentle foster brother to the family's foster kittens, teaching them everything he knows (which is mostly just to always be on the lookout for food).
Barry's had a perfect day if it includes going to daycare or out to the dog park so he can chase and be chased — and if you think you can catch him, think again because he might be the fastest dog alive! He also loves when his parents put on Bob's Burgers when they leave the house (Linda is his favorite), and he's a big fan of sleeping in whether it's in bed, on the couch, or sprawled out in the sun on his favorite chair on the patio.
He is a lovable boy that loves celebrating PAWS!
If your pet was a type of ice cream, what would they be and why?Cotton candy: It's loud, bold and sure to give you a sugar rush
How would your pet celebrate PAWS Atlanta's 60th anniversary?Since he was adopted from PAWS, Barry (and his parents) already tell everyone they meet how grateful they are for their local shelter. Whether it's for someone looking to adopt, someone looking for training and behavior help, or even someone just looking to make a difference by volunteering, they are always spreading the word about PAWS. And while that won't stop even after the celebrations for the 60th anniversary end, it makes it even sweeter to be able to advocate for the shelter during such a momentous time.
And pup cups. It's not a celebration for him without a pup cup!
