Bella is the best girl and everyone in her neighborhood knows it. Every morning she sets out on her rounds, saying hello with a wagging tail and dopey grin that's impossible not to love. Sundays are her favorite because she gets a special treat at the farmers market, but any day she's outside is a good day.

She takes her dad on long, meandering walks through Avondale, taking her sweet time to check on the turtles at the lake, collect gentle pets from the kids at the park, and bounce happily down the sidewalk past her friends' houses.

She's braver than she looks, having met both coyotes and cats face to face (honestly, she might prefer the coyotes). A couple neighborhood dogs are her mortal enemies for no real reason, but one look at that sweet face and all is forgiven.

More than anything, Bella loves people. She'd probably hold the door open for a burglar, as long as they stopped to scratch her head or her butt on the way in. She has so much love to give, especially considering her rocky start. Her first owners couldn't keep her, and she waited months at the shelter for her forever home. Then her family walked in, decided to foster, and fell irrevocably in love! They kept the name "Bella" from her first home, honoring the family that loved her enough to get her into a better situation.

Bella is all heart and makes us smile every single day.

If Bella was a type of ice cream, she'd be Butter Pecan because she's sweet and a little nutty! She emanates a smooth, comforting charm that will have you going back for more.

How would your pet celebrate PAWS Atlanta's 60th anniversary?
Bella is celebrating the 60th anniversary of PAWS by playing with her sister Spice, who is a PAWS adoption success story! She loved visiting the shelter to meet all her potential playmates before bringing home Spice, and is grateful to PAWS for all the friends and family she's had over the years. She'd also like to thank the people who give their time and money to such a worthwhile cause.
