Share a short bio about your pet!Apollo is a rescue rabbit I adopted from GA HRS. He was found near-death under an overturned Walmart cart back by the dumpster in the middle of July. He was badly dehydrated, suffering from flybot, and had blackened his teeth and nails trying to dig his way out from the cart. The amazing staff at GA HRS patiently nursed him back to health. Once he was healed physically and mentally, Apollo moved in with me as a foster, and quickly became a foster fail. He lives a good life with me now as a free-range rabbit. Apollo is playful, spirited, curious, and a wonderful companion!
If your pet was a type of ice cream, what would they be and why?Oreo cookie dough ice cream! His coloration.
How would your pet celebrate PAWS Atlanta's 60th anniversary?Apollo would zoom around the room stopping to binky mid-zoom, and then later, he would invite his rabbit friends over for a feast of romaine lettuce, cilantro, and dried papaya bits. Apollo and all pets saved by PAWS and other rescue organizations are so grateful to the humans that care and support and protect them, so often turning a sad life to one of pure joy.
