A little about me...
Sunny and Nikki are two 16-year old female parrots who have been best friends for most of their lives. Sunny is a Sun Conure who hatched on March 23, 2004. Nikki is a Quaker Parrot, who hatched on April 19, 2004. Nikki, who was a hand-raised bird, was adopted at 11 weeks old. However, Sunny was adopted when she was 13 months old because she came from an abusive environment, she wasn't eligible to come live with humans until she learned to trust them.

Sunny and Nikki are often referred to as "the girls" because they do everything together, which include residing together in the same cage. They enjoy listening to music, squawking, taking showers, eating treats, and hanging out on my shoulder. They pretty much enjoy participating in whatever activities I am doing, from helping me sort through the mail to helping me compose new music. As a musician, they are my two musical muses and much of my music has been inspired by their beauty as well as their comedic behavior.
