A little about me...
Bentley was a feral guy who lived on the grounds of our development. He was an irregular visitor, and had not yet been trapped and neutered. One day he showed up with Momcat and four kittens in tow! Over a couple of days he carefully shepherded his family to each of three patios where he had been fed in the past, introducing them to each of us. I never saw anything like it. It was sweet and tender. All family members were eventually neutered, the other kitties adopted out, but Blackie ("Dot") remained with her Mom. The two are inseparable. The patriarch died peacefully six years ago, but others have joined the group. The girls currently live, well-sheltered and fed, with two "uncles." They are particularly close to one of the guys, who joins them for mutual grooming sessions.
