A little about me...
Dolly was abandoned by her first rich owner in Hoi An. Later on, a farmer decided to adopt her, but he didn't take a good care of her. He made her stay outside of the duck farm all day and night with another male dog, didn't feed her properly. Sometimes when they were starving, she had to eat cow poo.
One day in the autumn of 2020, some nice people asked the farmer to get her sterilized in Da Nang after she gave a birth to 3 cute puppies. And the farmer agreed to let her and her puppies go. Somehow, they managed to send Dolly to Paws for Compassion. Some one else adopted her puppies. Paws has taken a really good care of her until me - her new mom started working at the Clinic and I felt in love with her from day one I met her. So we decided to adopt Dolly from Paws.
She's a really smart girl. She could learn tricks so quickly without much efforts. But her mental problems are still here. After living with us for 2 years, she gets more confident, but still scared of other big dogs and human.
We really hope one day, she could have normal mental health as other dogs. However, we still love her and see her as our beloved daughter.
