Pet's Story or Bio
This is our PIP rescue dog Tater giving our other PIP rescue dog Sprout some doggie kisses. After our first PIP dog Muffin passed away in January of 2021, Tater was grieving, and so were we. We decided the best way to honor Muffin and ease Tater's grief was to get another PIP pup. Remembering Tater, the Lockhart Ladies selected Sprout, and he was the perfect choice for our family. Sprout was adopted in September 2021. He fills our hearts every day with his joy and love.

You are helping to save shelter dogs find a "furever" home and rehabilitate incarcerated women!
As an ex board member, I can attest to the amazing work this nonprofit is doing not only for the dogs, for the job skills provided to the inmates.
