Rules

Entry Fee: $5 per pet

Entry Requirements:

• Submit one photo of your pet to be used for voting. (Tip: Good lighting and personality may increase your chances!)
• One pet per photo — group shots will not be accepted.
• Multiple submissions are allowed, but submitting more than once does not guarantee a spot in the calendar.
• A pet may only win one spot in the calendar, even if entered multiple times.
• No people are allowed in the photo — pet(s) only, please!
• If your pet wins, you must submit 5 to 10 additional photos (different angles, good lighting) to Julie Blichmann Photography & Digital Art to help create your custom digital artwork for the calendar (no digital files are included.)
• Photos must be taken by you — professional photographs are not allowed and will be disqualified with no opportunity for a refund.
• Any photo deemed inappropriate by Julie Blichmann Photography & Digital Art, in its sole discretion, shall be disqualified with no opportunity for a refund.
• Contest entry fees are tax deductible. The email acknowledgment to your online donation serves as your tax receipt.
• Family members of Pawsitively Jefferson County TNVR volunteers are not eligible to enter the contest, but may participate in the Reserve-a-Spot option.
  
  

• Voting Fee: $1 per vote
• Minimum Vote Purchase: 5 votes ($5 minimum)
• Vote early and often — and share with friends and family to help your pet climb to the top!
  
  

• Personalize an Available Grid Space: $10
• Celebrate a pet’s birthday, Gotcha Day, or another special moment by reserving a spot on the 2026 calendar!
  
  

• Top 12 Pets with the Most Votes will be featured in the 2026 Pawsitively Jefferson County Calendar — one pet for each month.
• The calendar cover will be designed by Julie Blichmann Photography & Digital Art to complement the overall theme.
• Each winning pet will have a custom digital artwork created using the reference photos provided. (no digital files are included.)
• Julie Blichmann Photography & Digital Art will select the final image to be used in the calendar and determine which month it will appear.
• Weekly Prizes will be awarded to the pet that receives the most new votes each week during the voting period.
• In the event of a tie for weekly mini awards or monthly spots, a random computerized draw will determine the winner.
• All calendar winners must submit 5–10 additional photos after voting closes to complete their digital artwork.

• Submissions Close: 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Thursday, July 31, 2025
• Voting Opens: 9:00:00 AM (Central Time) on Tuesday, July 1, 2025
• Voting Closes: 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Thursday, July 31, 2025
• Weekly Winners Announced: July 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2025 – 5:00 PM CDT
• Calendar Winners Announced: August 2, 2025 – 5:00 PM CDT

By entering the contest, you confirm that you are the rightful owner of the submitted image. If you submit a photo that belongs to someone else, you accept full responsibility for any legal consequences or claims made by the original copyright holder.

By participating in the contest, you agree to release and hold harmless Pawsitively Jefferson County, Julie Blichmann Photography & Digital Art, and all associated officers, directors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, liabilities, or damages arising from your participation in the contest or from the use or acceptance of any prize.

Calendars will be available to the general public starting November 1, 2025.
