Delbert was born in Texas as one of ten puppies to a heartworm-positive mama. At just 3 weeks old, he came into our rescue, and I became his foster mom, though it didn’t take long for him to become a permanent part of my heart (and home)! I ended up adopting both Delbert and his amazing mama, Maggie. Delbert is the definition of a lovable goofball. He absolutely must be in the middle of everything and insists on knowing what’s going on at all times! Whether it’s a conversation, a chore, or a cuddle session that clearly wasn’t meant for him (but now is). He’s got a flair for chaos and a knack for keeping us on our toes. He’s wild, messy, nosey, and a bit dramatic… and I wouldn’t change a single thing. He’s a hot mess, but he’s my hot mess.
