Maggie’s story began on the streets of Texas - heartworm positive and caring for a litter of 10 pups as a stray. She came to Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue, where I became her foster… and quickly became a foster fail! I adopted both her and her son, Delbert, and never looked back. Maggie is sweet, sassy, and full of quirks that make her impossible not to love. She’s calm and quiet, until walk time, when she shrieks with excitement! She LOVES belly rubs and will flop over just about anywhere to request one—on walks, while camping, in the middle of the kitchen… belly rubs are life! She’s also a water girl and loves wading in creeks (as long as it’s not too deep). Maggie may have had a rough start, but she’s living her best life now—and I’m so lucky to call her mine.
