Your Pet's Story or Bio
In 2008, we adopted two adorable 10-week-old puppies from a puppy rescue. Ginger had been found wandering the streets of Denver and she looked a bit like our adult dog. Since potty-training two pups wasn’t much more work than potty-training one, we took home T-Bone, a Rottie-mix from New Mexico as well. At first, Ginger was a little bigger than her “brother”, but he continued to grow until he was 120 pounds. T-Bone’s Rottie ancestry was gorgeous and his Italian Mastiff brindling showed through the tan areas. He had a strong, long tail that he’d wag in circles. T-Bone was an amazing family dog and loved getting belly rubs and hanging out with his people and pet siblings. He was absolutely wonderful when we adopted a 12- pound black cat who had been hit by a car. The two of them would cuddle - giant black & tan dog and small black cat! We lost him in 2021, and we still miss T-Bone.
