This calendar gives more than warm fuzzies – it gives second chances.

Everyone is a winner when you participate in PRAR’S 2026 calendar photo contest! All entrants:

• Will have their pet’s photo in the calendar!
• Will receive a free calendar with your entry fee (you can choose to have your calendar mailed directly to you for an additional cost of $6.00, or you can pick it up from us in S.E. Aurora, CO for free!)
• Will get the amazing feeling of helping to make a ‘Pawsitive Impact’ in an orphaned animal’s life! 

The Grand Prize will be awarded based on total votes received. The pet entry that receives the most votes at the close of competition at 8:00 PM (Mountain Time) on Sunday, August 31, 2025 will be recognized as PRAR’s 2026 Pet of the Year, and will:

• Grace the front cover of our 2026 Pawsitive Impact Calendar and in one month of the PRAR 2026 calendar!  PRAR will make the final decision on whether to you use your original contest entry photo or one of your pets’ professional photos on the cover. Puparazzi, by Christy Hess Photography will take the professional photos of your pet between Sept. 2^nd and Sept 10^th, 2025. If PRAR chooses to use your pets’ professional photo on the cover, your original entry photo will be published on one month inside the calendar.
• Receive a $100 Chewy.com electronic gift certificate.
• Receive a professional pet photography session with Puparazzi, by Christy Hess Photography. ($100 value) to be done Sept. 2^nd – Sept 10^th, 2025
• Be featured on the PRAR website’s homepage throughout 2026.
• Receive a feature on the PRAR Facebook page, along with your pet’s story.
• One extra free calendar (bragging rights, you know!)

*Grand Prize Winner must be within the Denver metropolitan area (or willing to travel) and be available for a September 2^nd-10^th 2025 photo shoot to be eligible for the Grand Prize. If your pet is not available, the Grand Prize will be awarded to next eligible candidate, and you will be awarded a 1st Prize package.

1^st PRIZE (11):

The next ELEVEN top vote recipients will receive:

• 11 first prize winners will have their photo showcased in a random month of the PRAR 2026 calendar. 
• Each first prize winner will also receive a $20 Chewy.com electronic gift certificate.
• Your pet’s photo will be featured on the PRAR website and social media outlets.
   

2^nd PRIZE (20):

• 20 second Prize winners (whose entry raises a minimum of $50) will have their entry photo featured on a blank date space within the calendar.
