Cocoa and Muffin are both rescues. Cocoa was born at a dumpster in Farmerville. Several people worked together to rescue and foster this sweet pup to find her a home. She is now our Dumpster Queen. Muffin, as a tiny kitten, eyes barely open, was found by some boys lying in the middle of a road in Calhoun. They though they had just passed a rat lying in the road and went back to see what it was. They took the kitten to a young girl for her to bottle feed it, but she caught the flu and needed help. The kitten was advertised on Facebook. I went and got it for my Aunt Kitty to raise. Unfortunately Aunt Kitty fell ill and never recovered. I took the kitten then, named it Muffin, and bottle fed it. She loves Cocoa, and they are best friends.
