I adopted Sweetie from 4 Paws Rescue in Ruston.Her mom was a Dachsund and dad a beagle. Mom and two other siblings were living in the woods. She was four months old at that time. I adopted Sugar from Ouachita Parish Animal Shelter, West Monroe. I don't know any hx. on Sugar except she was approx. one year old when I adopted her and she is a Dachsund mix. Their favorite pass time is chasing squirrels out of the back yard (if its not to hot!!)and going on walks. I have had Sweetie for 6 years and Sugar for 5 years. They have brought me such joy and happiness and they are My Girls. And I refere to them as The Girls.
