Pet's Story
Edgar was saved on the streets of TN. A wonderful woman name Melody fostered him back to health after he was found with a broken leg and a broken hip. Paws New England brought him back to RI for him to be with his forever family. They said he wouldn't run and didn't bark but boy did Edgar prove them wrong. He is a fierce protector of his home and loved to run hard around the yard chasing his human siblings. He's goofy and loves to be hugged and snuggle up. He's great with all his fur-siblings as well. His two 2 yr old cat brothers and his 16 yr old dog sister Chloe. Unfortunately, Chloe passed away earlier this year but although Edgar is heartbroken he is also resilient and is just an absolute blessing to our family. He has recently been diagnosed with a herniated disc and has lost the ability to use his back legs but he is so strong and loving and is enjoying his new wheelchair that someone graciously let us borrow for as long as he needs. He is hopefully on the path to "getting his legs back" ❤️
