Pet's Story
This is Duggie. Duggie was dumped at a shelter in the south for having suspected hip issues as a very young pup, and problem not uncommon to Great Pyrenees dogs. He came to us as a long term PAWS foster so we could figure out what orthopedic issues were going on with his hips. He was only 4 months old when he came to us as our 9th foster pup. He was a giant ball of fluff, but already almost as big as our full grown lab! We got lucky, and the vets said his hips just need monitoring for the time being. Well within a week or so of having him, we knew we couldn’t part with him and he became an official family member and the 3rd dog to our dog trio. We surprised our kids with an adoption video and made them cry happy tears. We love our doofy Duggie.
