At 4.5 months old, Khali was shot. It went down the side of her face, grazing her ear, into her shoulder and out through what would be her armpit. The bone was so shattered that the vet couldn’t find it all on X-ray. The decision was made to amputate. That was 8 years ago. She is fat and sassy, loving life. She loves meeting new people. She still has fear of gunshots and trembles uncontrollably. But she doesn’t let it stop her. We love our girl!
