Your Pet's Story or Bio
Finn was one of more than 60 dogs saved from a hoarding situation in which he and other dogs were kept in horrible conditions. His shelter picture broke my heart. He had not been socialized with people and was terrified when I picked him up off transport. I sat outside in his pen night after night with vienna sausages. Slowly he started to come around and sniff my hand. It took him several more months before he would go into the house on his own. He loves his fluffy dog bed, tummy rubs and gives me kisses when I visit him. I still can not put a leash on him but one day I hope to be able to do so. It's taken a long time. When I see him running and playing and his tail wagging it fills my heart with joy.
