Paul Newman (formerly Nelson) was rescued by PTTR as a stray. He had an old gun-shot injury to his hip and PTTR created a Pledgie account for his surgery. Thanks to so many who donated, he is now perfectly health and pain-free! Paul Newman's Mom found PTTR through Facebook and decided to make a call. She spoke to employees and volunteers who knew all the dogs well and listed all the characteristics she was looking for in a dog that would fit well into her five-cat home. The staff af PTTR matched Paul Newman's personality and character to his new Mom. He was transported up to Northern NH and the rest is blissful history!
