Meet Dixie, the blue eyed Australian Cattle mutt that has stolen our hearts. Dixie was dumped in a Texas high kill shelter and with the help of the great volunteers of Southern Comforts Animal Rescue we were able to save her life. Dixie's boy Cam instantly fell in love with her pictures and I knew she was the one for him. Dixie made her travels across country to CT and was delivered to Cam as his special birthday surprise gift. That was four years ago and the two are inseparable. Our love for her continues to grow. Cam and I volunteer so more dogs like Dixie have a chance at a loving furever home.
