Meet Honey, me sweet fiery princess who wasn’t always a ball of spunk that speaks her mind. When I rescued her , she had been found just having given birth and noticeably used for breeding. She was covered in yeast and had ear infections that had been there for a LONG time. She couldn’t be left alone and didn’t bark for months. She was broken. It’s been a long journey to health but let me tell you, she is so grateful and lets me know every day. Her nervous system has relaxed and she knows she is safe, it’s all I could ever ask for. In fact, she bosses around my other pit who is double her size! In the beginning, I had the help from the County for her spay and a few non profit organizations to get her needed surgeries and medication. It made all the difference as back then I would not have been able to afford it. I would do it again a million times, she is my baby. Every cent counts.
